• "MTC" refers to Aircity Operating System (HK) Ltd and its subsidiaries.
• "User" refers to any registered account holder of the MTC mobile application.
• "Vehicle" refers to any vehicle in the MTC fleet made available for booking.
• "Booking" refers to a reservation made by a User for the use of a Vehicle.
• "Trip" refers to the period during which a User is actively using a Vehicle.
• 「MTC」指由創城營運系統(香港)有限公司營運的 MTC 租車服務。
• 「用戶」指 MTC 流動應用程式的任何註冊帳戶持有人。
• 「車輛」指 MTC 車隊中可供預訂的任何車輛。
• 「預訂」指用戶為使用車輛而作出的預約。
• 「行程」指用戶正在使用車輛的期間。
2. Eligibility & Account | 資格及帳戶
• Users must be at least 18 years of age.
• Users must hold a valid driving license (Hong Kong or recognized international license).
• KYC verification is required, including valid identification (HKID or Passport) and driving license.
• Each person may hold only one MTC account.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials.
• 用戶必須年滿18歲。
• 用戶必須持有有效駕駛執照（香港或認可的國際駕駛執照）。
• 需要進行身份驗證，包括有效身份證明文件（香港身份證或護照）及駕駛執照。
• 每人只可持有一個 MTC 帳戶。
• 用戶有責任維護其帳戶憑證的安全。
3. Booking & Cancellation | 預訂及取消
• Bookings can be made through the MTC mobile application or by scanning the QR code on any MTC vehicle.
• For app bookings: Cancellation within 15 minutes of booking confirmation is free of charge. Cancellations made 15 minutes or more after confirmation will incur a fee of 50% of the base fare.
• For QR code instant trips: Trips may be ended at any time by returning the vehicle to an MTC station. No cancellation fees apply for QR-initiated trips.
• MTC reserves the right to cancel bookings due to vehicle unavailability or other operational reasons.
• The base fare and per-minute rate are displayed in the app at the time of booking.
• An off-hours surcharge may apply for trips outside of standard operating hours.
• Tunnel tolls, road fees, and other incidental charges are NOT included in the fare. All tolls are processed via Hong Kong e-toll and deducted from your security deposit. Parking at MTC station carparks during your trip (excluding pickup and drop-off locations) is contactless and will also be deducted from your security deposit.
• Payment is processed in the following priority: wallet balance first, then default payment card.
• All prices are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).
• A security deposit will be held as an authorization on your default payment card. The deposit amount varies by user tier.
• The deposit covers potential damage to the vehicle, traffic violations, tolls, parking fees at MTC stations, and other charges incurred during your trip.
• Deposits are typically released within 7 days after trip completion, subject to pending traffic violation penalties, tunnel and road tolls, parking fees, and any circumstances deemed necessary to correctly calculate the release amount.
• In cases involving pending investigations (traffic violations, damage assessment, or third-party claims), the deposit hold may be extended for up to 3 months.
• MTC may deduct from the deposit for vehicle damage, traffic fines, parking violations, toll fees, and MTC station parking between trips.
• Users will be notified of any deductions with a detailed breakdown via the app.
• Vehicles must remain within Hong Kong SAR at all times. Cross-border travel is strictly prohibited.
• The following activities are prohibited: smoking in the vehicle, racing or reckless driving, sub-letting the vehicle or allowing unauthorized drivers, using the vehicle for illegal activities, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Pets are permitted in vehicles; however, Users are responsible for any cleaning required.
• Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received.
• MTC stations include private carparks and public metered parking locations.
• Vehicles are delivered with varying battery levels; however, all vehicles will have adequate range to complete any point-to-point journey between available pickup and drop-off locations.
• When dropping off at a public metered parking location during paid hours, Users must pay the meter for the maximum allowed time (currently HK$2 per hour).
• If a parking violation ticket is issued during the time covered by the meter payment, the User is not liable for that fine.
• If a parking violation ticket is issued after the meter coverage expires (because the vehicle was not picked up by another customer, topped up, or collected by MTC staff), the User who parked the vehicle is not liable for that fine.
• All rentals include comprehensive third-party insurance coverage.
• Insurance Excess: In the event of an accident, Users are liable for an insurance excess of up to HK$40,000. This applies to vehicle damage, third-party claims, and any costs not covered by insurance.
• If the accident involves both vehicle damage AND third-party liability, Users may be liable for a combined maximum excess of up to HK$60,000.
• Liability protection is void if the User violated these terms (e.g., driving under the influence, unauthorized driver, racing).
• Damage assessment will be performed by MTC within 7 days of vehicle return.
• Users will be notified of any deductions with a detailed explanation.
