Who can rent?
Anyone with a Hong Kong ID and a valid driving licence, P-plate drivers included. Verification is one-time and usually done within 24 hours.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. It is held on your card (the amount depends on your account) and is usually released within 7 days after the trip.
Is insurance included?
Yes, every trip is insured. If there's an accident, the most you pay is HK$40,000, or HK$60,000 if there's both damage to the car and a third-party claim. The cap doesn't apply if the terms are broken (e.g. drink-driving or an unauthorised driver).
Where can I return the car?
At any MTC station car park or a government metered street space. At a meter, pay for the maximum time allowed. Lock the car in the app and take a photo.
